Crunch Time

Coming into my first year as a Master's student in Community and Addictions Counseling 2 years ago was about as exciting a moment as ever for me. Now, it is almost over. With final exams, papers, presentations, the National Counselor Examination, and Graduation on the horizon, it is definitely CRUNCH TIME! Looking back at my experience here at William and Mary, I can safely say that accepting this place as my home (literally, the School of Education)  was the best decision I have ever made. Not only do I feel prepared to enter the "real-world" with relevant clinical and academic experience, I also feel confident in my abilities to be a professional helper. I owe all of my gratitude and potential future success to the faculty, staff, and fellow students here at William and Mary. They have, indeed, become my family. At every corner, they were there to support me, encourage me, and guide me along the path to entering the next chapter of my life.

My experience may differ from other students, but I doubt that anyone would argue that the community and supportive atmosphere of William and Mary that engulfs you as a new student is truly special.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you W&M!
